Friday Phone Call

Friday, October 20th, 2017

Hi, this is Jeff James, Principal at Soledad High School with your Friday Phone Call for the week of October 20th . Parents, next week Soledad High School will be hosting its Second Annual College and Career Fair on Wednesday October 25th . We have 39 colleges and businesses coming to talk with sophomores, juniors, and seniors about college and career paths. This weekend would be a wonderful time for you to speak with your own student about their plans for life after Soledad High School. This week is homecoming. By the time you get today’s Friday Phone Call our parade will be completed but there will still be time to watch our Aztec Football Team take on Scots Valley. This week, our football game will be broadcast through the Monterey County Office of Education by our own Soledad High School Video Production Class. To watch the game online or to see how well our students perform behind the cameras, check out MCAET on YouTube by going to the following address: www.mcaet.org/youtube I am very happy to give a huge shout out to our Lady Aztecs Cross County Team. This year they are continuing on to the CCS Post Season as the highest ranked Aztec Cross Country Team ever! Way to go, Lady Aztecs! If there is anything that we can do to assist you, please feel free to give us a call at 678 6400. Thank you, and have a wonderful weekend.
