Graduating Senior Notification

Congratulations! Your Child is about to graduate from Soledad High School. As graduating seniors, Soledad High School is planning a variety of end of year activities to commemorate this event. These activities include Aztec Walk, Senior Field Day, Prom, Grad Bash, and the Graduation Ceremony itself. Students participating in these end of year events are not only celebrating the completion of their secondary education, they are also representing Soledad High School and our community.

As such, any student who receives an administrative suspension during the last 30 school days may lose their right to participate in these end of year activities. For the 2024-2025 school years, April 29, 2025 is the beginning of these 30-days.

All of our Soledad High School seniors have been made aware of this during a senior class meeting discussing the end of year activities. As a parent myself, I know that graduation is a family activity. Please make time to talk with your senior student about the need to continue to be the wonderful people which they normally are. Let them know your own expectations concerning their school behavior.

¡Felicitaciones! Su hijo/a está a punto de graduarse de la Preparatoria Soledad. Como estudiantes de último año, la Preparatoria Soledad está planeando diversas actividades de fin de año para conmemorar este evento. Estas actividades incluyen la Caminata Azteca, el Día de Campo para los Estudiantes de Último Año, el Baile de Graduación, la Fiesta de Graduación y la Ceremonia de Graduación. Los estudiantes que participan en estos eventos de fin de año no solo celebran la finalización de su educación secundaria, sino que también representan a la Preparatoria Soledad y a nuestra comunidad.

Por lo tanto, cualquier estudiante que reciba una suspensión administrativa durante los últimos 30 días escolares podría perder su derecho a participar en estas actividades de fin de año. Para el año escolar 2024-2025, el 29 de abril de 2025 marca el inicio de estos 30 días.

Todos nuestros estudiantes de último año de la Preparatoria Soledad fueron informados de esto durante una reunión de la clase donde se discutieron las actividades de fin de año. Como padre/madre, sé que la graduación es una actividad familiar. Por favor, dedique tiempo a hablar con su estudiante de último año sobre la necesidad de seguir siendo la persona maravillosa que suele ser. Infórmeles sobre sus expectativas respecto a su comportamiento escolar.
