ParentSquare Draft – Staff Housing Project Update

Dear Soledad USD Community,

I am pleased to share an update on our Staff Housing Project—an important initiative made possible through the community's support of Measure N. This project will provide affordable, high-quality housing for our teachers and classified staff, helping us attract and retain the very best educators and support professionals for our students.

Over the past months, we have moved steadily through the design and approval phases, worked with the City of Soledad on agreements, and completed key pre-construction steps. Construction is now underway, and progress on the site can be seen each week. When complete, the development will include 20 one- and two-bedroom units exclusively for Soledad USD employees.

We know this project has taken time to bring to life, and we thank you for your patience and continued encouragement. This investment in housing is an investment in our schools, our staff, and most importantly, our students’ future.
